1982年大分県生まれ。映像制作会社を経て、2010年より映像監督として活動。広告映像を中心に、自動車、ビューティー、テクノロジーなど幅広い領域を手がけ、海外ロケも数多く経験している。企画の意図を捉え、人物の表情や身体表現、プロダクトの質感、風景のスケールを映像にする。構図や光、編集、音まで一貫して演出する。

Born in Oita, Japan, in 1982, Mitsugu Matsumoto began directing in 2010 after working at a film production company. His commercial work spans automotive, beauty and technology, with extensive experience filming internationally. Guided by each project’s concept, he captures human expression and physical performance, the textures of products and the scale of landscapes. His direction extends through composition, lighting, editing and sound.
